Use smooth peanut butter for this texture

Measure the peanut butter before blending and have the two glasses and topping ready. The listed smooth product blends into the ice cream more readily than a crunchy version with pieces. If your peanut butter has separated, follow its label for mixing it before measuring rather than taking only oil from the top of the jar.

Blend briefly until smooth and thick, then divide into glasses with room for the cream peaks. Add the small chip faces and serve promptly. Keep the peanut ingredient clear when offering the shakes: the cream decoration does not identify what is blended below it. Return the unused ice cream and milk to storage while the drinks are finished, rather than leaving all ingredients out for a possible later round.
