Drizzle the measured syrup inside the glasses before blending the ice cream and milk. Use vessels with enough practical room for the shake and cream; the listed capacity is a minimum, not an instruction to fill to the rim. A nearby extra glass is useful if your ice cream’s volume makes the pours larger than expected.
Divide the shake before adding the whipped cream, keeping room for a small mound. Use a few chips for the face rather than covering the soft cream with the whole decoration allowance. Serve straight away with spoons so the syrup, shake and topping can be enjoyed together. If making another pair, return the ice cream to frozen storage while you clear and reset the blender.
Timing and servings are estimates. Equipment, ingredients and portion sizes affect the result.
