Mix the still juices first
Chill the apple juice, cranberry juice cocktail and ginger ale before assembly. Combine the still ingredients in the pitcher while the ginger ale remains sealed. That division makes the last serving step short and avoids stirring out bubbles while the rest of the ingredients are measured. Cut the apple garnish close to serving and have the glasses ready.
Pour the ginger ale slowly, then divide the drink among the four glasses. A thin half-moon belongs in each glass, with the rest of the apple served alongside. If preparing another round later, keep its ingredients chilled and separate rather than making one pitcher sit while everyone finishes the first drink. The recipe uses juice and soda, without an alcoholic ingredient.
