Three alcohol-free Halloween party drinks bring different flavors to the same spooky table: cranberry-orange Blood Moon Fizz, strained Blackberry Witch’s Fizz and Lychee Eyeball Punch. Each recipe below includes its full quantities, glass capacity and finishing steps. Decorate the outside of clean glasses below the rim, then keep the juice and sparkling ingredients chilled until serving.

1. Blood Moon Fizz: a Halloween mocktail

2 tall drinks, about 10 fl oz each before ice · estimated 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) chilled cranberry juice cocktail, sweetened
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) chilled orange juice
  • 1 cup (240 ml) chilled plain sparkling water
  • Ice, enough to loosely fill two 16 fl oz glasses about halfway
  • 2 thin orange rounds, for garnish

Method

  1. Mix the cranberry juice cocktail and orange juice in a measuring jug. Cut two thin rounds from the orange and make a small slit from the edge toward the center of each.
  2. Loosely fill two 16 fl oz glasses about halfway with ice. Divide the juice mixture evenly between them: about 3/4 cup (180 ml) per glass.
  3. Slowly pour 1/2 cup (120 ml) sparkling water into each glass. Stir once gently to combine while keeping the fizz. If your ice leaves too little room, remove a few cubes before topping up.
  4. Place one orange round on each rim so it looks like a little full moon. Serve immediately while sparkling.

Choose enough room for the ice and fizz

The blood-moon recipe makes two tall drinks, about ten fluid ounces each before ice. Use sixteen-fluid-ounce glasses, loosely half-filled with ice. A tightly packed glass leaves less room for the measured liquid. Remove some ice if necessary rather than silently reducing the sparkling water.

Use sweetened cranberry juice cocktail as specified, not an unmeasured substitution of unsweetened cranberry juice. Mix it with the orange juice before dividing, then add the sparkling water separately to each glass. One gentle stir keeps the drink mixed without making repeated stirring another preparation stage.

The orange rounds supply both the moon shape and the garnish. Make the slit before filling the glasses so there is no need to cut fruit above a full drink. Each rim gets one round, with the black exterior face remaining below the drinking edge.

2. Blackberry Witch’s Fizz: a Halloween mocktail

2 drinks · estimated 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) chilled plain sparkling water
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 thin lime rounds, for garnish

Method

  1. Rinse the blackberries. Make a small slit from the edge toward the center of each lime round. Muddle the berries with the lime juice and maple syrup in a bowl for 1–2 minutes, until crushed and juicy.
  2. Press the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a jug to collect the juice. Discard the seeds and pulp.
  3. Divide the ice evenly between two 12 fl oz glasses: 1/2 cup per glass. Divide the strained berry base evenly between the glasses.
  4. Slowly top each glass with 3/4 cup (180 ml) sparkling water. Stir once gently, place one lime round on each rim and serve immediately.

Strain the berry base before adding bubbles

Muddle the blackberries with the measured lime juice and maple syrup for one to two minutes. The goal is a juicy mixture that can pass through the strainer. The finished drink uses the strained base; whole floating berries and a pile of pulp are not extra ingredients for this version.

Divide the ice and strained base between two twelve-fluid-ounce glasses, then add three-quarters of a cup of sparkling water to each. The recipe uses one cup of ice in total, so each glass receives half a cup. Finish each glass with its own lime round and serve immediately.

Fresh berry sizes and juice content vary. Keep the recipe’s measured ingredients rather than promising a fixed strained volume or adding more syrup to match a photograph. The published estimate allows about ten minutes for muddling, straining and assembling.

3. Lychee Eyeball Punch

4 drinks · estimated 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) orange juice, chilled
  • 2 cups (480 ml) ginger ale, chilled
  • 8 canned lychees, drained
  • 8 blueberries, rinsed

Method

  1. Drain the lychees well. Press one blueberry into the opening of each lychee to make an edible eye.
  2. Combine the chilled cranberry juice cocktail and orange juice in a pitcher. Slowly stir in the ginger ale just before serving.
  3. Divide the punch between four glasses of at least 300 ml capacity. Add two lychee eyes to each glass and serve immediately.

Make eight edible eyes for four drinks

Drain the canned lychees well, then press one rinsed blueberry into each opening. Eight lychees and eight blueberries make eight eyes: two for each of four drinks. The photograph shows two of those four servings and four of the eight eyes.

Combine the chilled cranberry juice cocktail and orange juice in a pitcher. Stir in the ginger ale just before serving, then divide between four glasses of at least three hundred millilitres. This formula does not include ice; do not use the ice quantity from one of the other drinks.

The fruit eyes are loose edible pieces in the drink. Keep the servings appropriate for the people at your table and offer a spoon if helpful. The black face is an exterior glass decoration, not a substitute for the lychee-and-blueberry garnish.

Prepare the bases, then finish at serving time

Set out the correctly sized glasses first. Prepare the orange and lime rounds, drain the lychees and make the fruit eyes. Keep the juices, soda and sparkling water chilled. Assemble the berry base separately so seeds and pulp are removed before it goes into the glasses.

Leave the sparkling additions until you are ready to serve. Work in the stated batches rather than promising one combined preparation time: the two fizzes each make two drinks, while the punch makes four. Those are eight individual recipe portions, not a recommendation to serve every guest all three.

These are existing Fondfolk recipe-development formulas. Times and yields are estimates; no kitchen testing is claimed. Use clean food-contact surfaces and keep exterior decorations clear of the rim and inside of the glasses.

The two-cup glass measuring cup helps measure and divide a juice base. Its two-cup capacity does not hold the entire four-drink punch, so use a larger existing pitcher for that batch.

Use a fine-mesh strainer to remove blackberry seeds and pulp; the fine-mesh strainer set is an optional catalog choice for that specific step. Set the strainer over a stable bowl or jug.

For the measured fresh lime juice, compare citrus presses. Search results are a changing selection, so check the chosen tool fits the fruit and is easy to clean.

If you need glasses, compare large drink glasses and check the actual capacity: sixteen fluid ounces for Blood Moon Fizz, twelve for Blackberry Witch’s Fizz and at least three hundred millilitres for each punch serving. The search category includes different vessel sizes; do not assume every result suits each recipe.
